She was currently carrying two grocery bags filled with food that she had picked up so they could make something for dinner. Walking into his kitchen, she set them on the counter before turning to face him with a neutral look since she wasn't sure how he was going to react to her problem.
"I was having lunch with Belle and Ruby today and they were asking a lot of questions about us. Just about how much time we've been spending together and all that." She slipped her jacket off, moving over to drape it over the back of a chair before moving to open the bags. It was clear from the way she moved around his place that she was comfortable there, especially now that she was starting to remember where he had put everything. Removing the frozen lasagna, she placed it on top of the stove and then turned to remove the two packs of garlic bread.
"I tried to play it off as casually as I could but...I think people around town are starting to wonder." It was also clear from the way she was talking a little quicker than usual that she was nervous about his reaction. What if he told her they had to cool things off because people were starting to notice? She wasn't sure she could handle that idea.
